Volunteers make the event possible!

**All volunteer positions for the full tour are filled but we are still looking for volunteers for Heroes Hurrah. Please contact Kedrin Gall if you have any questions.**

The Wish-A-Mile Bicycle Tour has a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the tour including managing break stops and driving along the route to provide support and guidance (SAG) to riders. Volunteers must commit for the full tour, which runs Friday, July 28 – Sunday, July 30, 2023 and be at least 21 years old. Heroes Hurrah (finish-line celebration) volunteers must commit to Sunday, July 30. 2023 with various times depending on role. Volunteers on the full tour will work with a partner. You can recruit your own partner, or you can be paired with someone. You will drive an official tour vehicle that will be provided by Make-A-Wish Michigan. Volunteers (on full tour) must complete a background check and have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Personal vehicles are prohibited on the tour.

If you are interested in volunteering at Heroes Hurrah, our finish-line celebration, it will take place on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Volunteers are needed to help with kids' games, parking, finish-line festivities and more. Heroes Hurrah is also a wonderful way to get your community groups or co-workers together to have a fun day of volunteering! If you have questions or would like to register yourself or your group, please contact Kedrin Gall at kgall@michigan.wish.org.
