Volunteers make the event possible!

Volunteer at the Wish-A-Mile Bicycle Tour and make a difference in the lives of Michigan children with critical illnesses!

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including:

  • Managing break stops: Help keep riders fueled and hydrated at our rest stops along the route.
  • Driving SAG: Provide support and guidance to riders as they pedal through the miles.
  • Hospitality Booth: Setting up at our overnight locations and welcoming riders.

Volunteers must commit for all three days of the tour and be at least 21 years old. Volunteers on the tour will work with a partner. You can recruit your own partner or asked to be paired with someone. You will drive an official tour vehicle that will be provided by Make-A-Wish Michigan. Volunteers (all three days) must complete a background check, driving record check and have a valid driver’s license with auto insurance. Personal vehicles are prohibited on the tour.
