I am excited to participate in the upcoming Wish-A-Mile^® Bicycle Tour taking place July 2025! I have committed to raising money for Make-A-Wish^® Michigan to help grant transformational wishes to Michigan children with critical illnesses. A wish shifts the focus from hospital stays, treatments and surgeries. It opens up a world of possibilities — where the exciting anticipation of a wish-come-true helps wish kids believe in better days ahead. A wish replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope at a time when a child needs it most.

Some of the extraordinary wishes we granted last year:

Cadence, age 5, wished for a pink splash pad in her backyard
Mason, age 11, wished to have a dolphin experience
Lily, age 14, wished to have a mermaid experience
Thomas, age 3, wished for a Nintendo Mario-themed playhouse
Madison, age 16, wished to learn how to surf

This year alone, Make-A-Wish Michigan anticipates that 800 Michigan children will be newly diagnosed with a critical illness. These are children in your community who need the power of a wish in their lives. And it is only through community support that these wishes are possible. 500 children experienced the power of a wish last year. In 2025, we're reaching higher - because every child deserves a reason to believe. This year we aim to go beyond 500 wishes.  I'm riding and fundraising so these deserving Michigan kids and their families can know the happiness, relief and renewal a wish can bring.
